Brewery Museum
Pivovarské muzeum (the Brewery Museum) in Plzeň is housed in an original 15th-century right-of-brewing house in the city centre and is the only specialist museum of its kind in Bohemia. The collection traces the story of beer from the Middle Ages to the present day — the original Gothic malt house, city walls, two-level cellars, and curiosities including the world's smallest jug, a copper pitcher made for Emperor Franz Joseph, and a 19th-century glass cask said to have transported beer to the Vatican. The 60-minute tour is available in Czech, English and German, and visitors over 18 receive a 'pivenka' voucher for a Pilsner Urquell at selected Plzeň pubs.
