1. Deutsches Rittergutsmuseum
Germany's first and only Rittergutsmuseum (manor estate museum), located in the Neues Herrenhaus at Rittergutsschloss Taucha. The museum documents over 1,000 years of local history and 790 years of castle and estate history through more than 20 display panels. Topics include the Thirty Years' War, the Battle of Leipzig, viticulture, and regional folklore. The exhibition opened in 2011 and was renovated and reopened in May 2023.
