Archäologisches Museum Frankfurt
The Archäologisches Museum Frankfurt researches and presents the prehistoric, Roman, medieval, and early modern archaeology of Frankfurt and its surrounding region. Housed at Karmelitergasse 1, the museum traces the city's archaeology and history from the Stone Age to the early modern period, with an affiliated Kaiserpfalz franconofurd site just west of the Dom displaying Roman and medieval building remains.
