Archäotechnisches Zentrum Welzow (ATZ)
The Archäotechnisches Zentrum Welzow (atz) is a museum in Brandenburg, Germany, recognized and institutionally funded by the Landkreis Spree-Neiße. Its interactive exhibition "MENSCH – HOLZ – ARCHÄOLOGIE" brings 300,000 years of human history to life with hands-on displays. Focus themes include prehistoric house building, energy, nutrition and early craft techniques, and visitors can try ancient crafts at activity stations. The centre also runs workshops, school programmes and events on archaeology, history and sustainable living.
