Bayerisches Armeemuseum

The Bayerisches Armeemuseum (Bavarian Army Museum) in Ingolstadt is one of the great military history museums in Europe, with collections spanning from the Late Middle Ages to the present, focusing on Bavaria within its broader European context. The museum occupies multiple historic buildings including the New Palace, the WWI Reduit Tilly, and the Turm Triva police museum. Open Tuesday through Sunday with extended Saturday–Sunday hours.
