Deutsches Apotheken-Museum

The Deutsches Apotheken-Museum, housed in Heidelberg Castle, presents the history of pharmacy in Germany through historic apothecary interiors, instruments, vessels and remedies. Visitors can wander through reconstructed pharmacies from several centuries and explore the science, craft and culture of preparing medicines. Guided tours, a museum shop and publications complement the permanent exhibition.
