Deutsches Burgenmuseum

The Deutsches Burgenmuseum is located at the historic Veste Heldburg fortress in Thuringia, Germany. The museum presents the world of medieval castles through original exhibition pieces, authentic rooms, models, and multimedia presentations, including what is believed to be the oldest medieval wall painting depicting a knight battle.
