Deutsches Damast- und Frottiermuseum Großschönau

The Deutsches Damast- und Frottiermuseum in Großschönau presents the textile history of damask and terrycloth weaving in Saxony's Oberlausitz region. The collection covers historic looms, pattern designs and cartoons, the development of frottier (terry) weaving and local industrial heritage. Permanent and special exhibitions are complemented by a museum shop, café and active support association.
