Deutsches Freimaurer-Museum

The Deutsches Freimaurermuseum in Bayreuth is the only specialised museum in Germany devoted to the cultural heritage of Freemasonry. It preserves, researches, documents and publishes artefacts and records from the origins of Freemasonry in Germany to the present day. The walk-through exhibition focuses on the historical development of the brotherhood, its understanding of order and ritual, and its inner customs, including initiation and fellowship. A unique research library and archive complete the offer.
