Deutsches Medizinhistorisches Museum

The Deutsches Medizinhistorisches Museum Ingolstadt (DMMI) is dedicated to the history of European medicine. Its permanent exhibition in the baroque "Alte Anatomie" presents 18th-century medicine on the upper floor and highlights "21 Strong Things" on the ground floor, alongside an extensive medical-technology section spanning 2,000 years of urinary stone therapy. A medicinal-plants garden and museum café complete the visit; a current vitrine, "Alles muss raus!", showcases changing objects on bodily relics.
