Deutsches Textilmuseum

The Deutsches Textilmuseum Krefeld is a museum of historic and contemporary textiles run by the city of Krefeld, traditionally a centre of the German textile industry. Its collection, on view in changing exhibitions and an online catalogue, covers textiles from many cultures and periods. Current shows include "Sehnsucht Wald" and the digital exhibition "The Fabric Of My Life", complemented by a museum shop, library, restoration workshop and active research programme.
