Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen
The Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen tells 100 years of aerospace history on 6,000 m² right next to Friedrichshafen Airport. Set in a hangar-style building, it displays around 400 exhibits including 14 original aircraft, a helicopter, seven 1:1 spaceflight replicas, and full-scale rebuilds of the Dornier Merkur and Dornier Wal. The museum's central message — "Anyone can be a pioneer" — is delivered through hands-on technology, guided tours, a flight simulator, and a 360° virtual tour.
