Emsland Archäologie Museum

The Emsland Archaeology Museum in Meppen presents 40,000 years of regional history and shares its building with the Stadtmuseum Meppen. Originally opened in 1996 and significantly expanded in 2019/20, the modern museum is run by the Landkreis Emsland and offers a permanent display, virtual tour, regularly changing special exhibitions and education programmes.
