Ernst-Barlach-Stiftung

The Ernst Barlach Stiftung in Güstrow operates the world's largest collection of works by sculptor, graphic artist and writer Ernst Barlach (1870–1938), one of the leading figures of German Classical Modern art. Visitors can experience the foundation across two main sites: the artist's Atelierhaus and exhibition forum at Heidberg, and the Gertrudenkapelle. Alongside the permanent Barlach holdings, the museum presents changing exhibitions on Classical Modern and contemporary art, plus a varied programme of workshops, lectures and tours.
