Felix-Mendelssohn-Bartholdy- Stiftung Mendelssohn-Haus
The Mendelssohn-Haus Leipzig is the historic last residence of composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and his family, now operated as a museum and concert venue by the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Foundation. The house presents Mendelssohn's life and work through period rooms, original furnishings, exhibitions on Cécile Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and the Effektorium interactive sound installation, alongside concerts, lectures and a children's discovery programme. It also hosts the Kurt Masur Institute and the Mendelssohn Orchesterakademie.
