Festung Königstein gGmbH

Festung Königstein is a vast hilltop fortress in Saxon Switzerland, southeastern Germany, one of the largest hilltop fortifications in Europe. Built and extended over more than 800 years, the site preserves dozens of historic buildings, deep cisterns, weapons collections and panoramic views over the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, and operates today as a public museum and visitor attraction.
