Forschungsmuseum Schöningen

The paläon Forschungsmuseum Schöningen presents the 300,000-year-old Schöningen spears, the oldest completely preserved wooden weapons in human history. The museum combines exhibitions with active archaeological research at the original excavation site in a former lignite mine.
