Franz Marc Museum

The Franz Marc Museum in Kochel am See presents works by Franz Marc and his Blue Rider (Blauer Reiter) companions in dialogue with modern and contemporary art. Changing special exhibitions broaden perspectives on key themes of Classical Modernism and engage with current questions. Embedded in a striking landscape between mountains and lake, the museum unites art, nature and architecture, and includes a sculpture park.
