Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark

The Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark in Neu-Anspach, Taunus, brings together more than 100 historic half-timbered buildings on a 65-hectare site, offering insight into 400 years of Hessian history and everyday culture. Visitors can wander historic streetscapes, learn about regional crafts in the workshops, watch museum theatre and explore special exhibitions. The site is also home to the Hessian School of Watchmaking, hosts weddings and christenings in its restored chapels and offers a busy programme of seasonal markets and family events.
