Freilichtmuseum Klausenhof

The Freilichtmuseum Klausenhof in Herrischried is the last surviving original Hotzenwald farmhouse, dating back to 1424. The thatched-roof homestead was carefully dismantled and rebuilt at its current site in the southern Black Forest, allowing visitors to step into a living history of the Hotzenwald and the Black Forest as they were over 500 years ago. A 10-station audio tour led via QR codes guides visitors around the museum grounds.
