Geomuseum der Universität Münster
The Geomuseum der Universität Münster, housed in the Landsberg'sche Kurie (1703–1707) at Pferdegasse 3, traces 13.8 billion years of Earth and life history from the Big Bang to Westphalia. Formed in 2007 by the merger of the university's mineralogical and palaeontological collections — the oldest dating to a museum mineralogicum et zoologicum founded in 1824 — the displays are organised in 14 thematic areas and feature unique Westphalian specimens of high scientific value.
