Gerhard-Marcks-Stiftung

The Gerhard-Marcks-Haus is Bremen's museum dedicated to sculpture, founded in 1971 around the work of Gerhard Marcks (1889–1981), one of the leading sculptors of the 20th century. It presents Marcks's rich and consistent oeuvre alongside changing exhibitions of historical and contemporary sculpture, an online collection, research projects and an active programme of education, workshops and outreach.
