Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov

The Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov is a unique German–Czech open-air museum that authentically presents medieval life, crafts and everyday history through reconstructed buildings, living history demonstrations, experimental archaeology, the Schaubaustelle Königshof construction site and a permanent exhibition. Operated by the Via Carolina e.V. trägerverein, the park offers guided tours, hands-on programmes, courses, school and corporate visits and multi-day experience packages, with on-site lodging and the Brot&Zeit museum café.
