Glasmuseum Weißwasser
The Glasmuseum Weißwasser presents over 150 years of glass-making history in the Lusatia region. From the lighting of the first glass furnace in 1873, Weißwasser grew within thirty years into the world's largest glass-making site with eleven factories, producing celebrated Lusatian glass and Bauhaus-era designs by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Ernst Neufert. The museum's permanent and special exhibitions, museum education programmes and a Weltglas international collection trace this remarkable industrial and design legacy.
