GRASSI Museum für Angewandte Kunst
The GRASSI is a museum quarter in the heart of Leipzig, bringing together three museums under one roof: the Museum of Applied Arts, the Museum of Ethnography (Welten-Kulturen) and the Museum of Musical Instruments. The Art Deco complex was built between 1925 and 1929 and named after the merchant and patron Franz Dominic Grassi. Together the museums host major joint events such as the GRASSIFEST and Open Day, and offer extensive family and children's programming.
