The Gutenberg-Museum in Mainz, Germany, is the world museum of the art of printing, dedicated to the life, work, and legacy of Johannes Gutenberg and the invention of movable-type printing. Known as the "Weltmuseum der Druckkunst," the museum houses rare incunabula, original Gutenberg Bibles, and exhibits tracing the history of printing and book arts from antiquity to the digital age. The museum is currently undergoing renovation with exhibits hosted at a temporary location.
