Industrie- und Filmmuseum Wolfen

The Industrie- und Filmmuseum Wolfen documents the history of the AGFA Wolfen film factory, once the second-largest film manufacturing facility in the world. From 1910 to 1990, raw film for photography and cinema was produced here at industrial scale. The museum, located at the original factory site in the Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen, houses the largest public camera collection in Saxony-Anhalt — over 800 cameras — and is the only facility in the world documenting film stock production at its original location using original machinery. Guided tours of the film production halls run regularly.
