Industriemuseum Chemnitz

The Industriemuseum Chemnitz, part of the Saxon Museum of Industry network, is housed in a meticulously restored factory complex dating to around 1900 in Chemnitz, Saxony. Across 3,500 m² of exhibition space it presents the technical and economic achievements of Saxon industry through several hundred exhibits spanning textile machinery, metalworking, engineering, and everyday working life. A steam engine demonstration takes place on the last Sunday of each month. The museum is a highlight of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
