Keltenmuseum Heuneburg

Keltenmuseum Heuneburg is an archaeological museum in Herbertingen-Hundersingen, Baden-Württemberg, presenting finds from the Heuneburg — one of the most important early Celtic princely seats north of the Alps, inhabited around 600 BC. The site was a major centre of the Hallstatt culture and shows Mediterranean influences, including a remarkable mudbrick wall constructed in Greek style. The museum displays grave goods from the rich tumulus burials surrounding the hillfort, including gold jewellery, bronze vessels, and imported luxury items, alongside reconstructions that illuminate the power and sophistication of this early Celtic aristocracy.
