Kemptener Museen
Kemptener Museen is the collective name for the publicly operated museums of Kempten (Allgäu), Bavaria. The main facility is the Kempten-Museum im Zumsteinhaus (Residenzplatz 31), a city history museum presenting Kempten's development from its origins as the Roman town of Cambodunum through the medieval and early modern periods to the present day. Closely linked is the Archäologischer Park Cambodunum (APC), an extensive archaeological park on the site of ancient Roman Cambodunum, with reconstructed Roman temple and forum buildings. Together the museums form one of the most important Roman heritage sites in Germany.
