Kulturhistorisches Museum Rostock- Kloster zum Heiligen Kreuz
The Kulturhistorisches Museum Rostock (Cultural History Museum) is one of Germany's oldest regional museums, with over 160 years of history. Housed in the historic Kloster zum Heiligen Kreuz (Convent of the Holy Cross) in Rostock's city centre, the museum preserves an extensive collection of art and cultural history from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Permanent exhibitions explore 650 years of Rostock's urban development and the city's rich printing and media heritage, alongside rotating special exhibitions.
