Kunststiftung Ruth Baumgarte

The Kunststiftung Ruth Baumgarte was established in 2012 as a non-profit foundation by the artist herself to preserve and promote her work. It researches and exhibits the art of German painter, draughtsperson, and printmaker Ruth Baumgarte (1923–2013), known for her vibrant, color-saturated paintings exploring themes of Africa, labor, and social life.
