Landesmuseum für Vorgeschichte

The Landesamt für Denkmalpflege und Archäologie Sachsen-Anhalt is the state authority for monument preservation and archaeology in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, established in 2004. It operates the State Museum for Prehistory (Landesmuseum für Vorgeschichte) in Halle (Saale), one of the most significant prehistoric museums in the world, housing finds including the famous Nebra Sky Disc.
