Landesmuseum Mainz

Landesmuseum Mainz is a state museum of the Generaldirektion Kulturelles Erbe Rheinland-Pfalz presenting art, culture, and history of the Rhine-Main region. Its collections span antiquity, the Middle Ages, and modern times, with particular strength in Roman artefacts, medieval art, and 19th–21st century fine art. The museum is located in the historic Kurfürstliches Schloss (Electoral Palace) in the heart of Mainz.
