Landgrafenschloss
Landgrafenschloss Marburg (Marburg Castle) is a medieval fortress that majestically crowns the city of Marburg, Germany, with nearly a thousand years of history. Originally built in the 10th–11th centuries, it evolved into a representative residence and now houses parts of the University of Marburg's art and cultural history collection. Highlights include the grand Fürstensaal (one of the largest secular Gothic halls in Central Europe), a chapel with original frescoes, and terraced gardens with sweeping city views. The castle grounds also host outdoor cultural events.
