LWL-Freilichtmuseum Detmold

LWL-Freilichtmuseum Detmold is one of the largest open-air museums in Europe, presenting 500 years of Westphalian everyday culture through over 100 authentically furnished historic buildings set in a sweeping natural landscape near Detmold. Visitors can experience traditional craftspeople at work, rare heritage livestock breeds, and immersive demonstrations of rural and small-town life from the 16th to the 20th century.
