LWL-Römermuseum

The LWL-Römermuseum in Haltern am See brings to life the Roman fort Aliso, one of the most important Roman military outposts in the region 2,000 years ago, through more than 1,200 original artefacts. Permanent exhibitions, an archaeological open-air site, and an escape room offer visitors an immersive journey into the daily lives of Roman legionaries stationed on the banks of the Lippe.
