Mahnmal St. Nikolai

Mahnmal St. Nikolai is a war memorial and museum in Hamburg, Germany, housed in the ruins of St. Nikolai Church — one of the city's tallest structures and a landmark deliberately preserved as a memorial to the victims of World War II, particularly the bombing raids during Operation Gomorrah in 1943. The memorial features permanent exhibitions on the bombing of Hamburg and the consequences of National Socialism.
