Mathematikum Gießen

The Mathematikum in Gießen is Germany's first interactive mathematics museum, inviting visitors of all ages to discover mathematics through hands-on experimentation. Founded by mathematician Albrecht Beutelspacher, the museum features over 150 interactive exhibits covering geometry, arithmetic, infinity, and visual phenomena. Special exhibitions, family programs, school workshops, and events such as the Gießener Kulturnacht round out the programme. The museum holds the "Fair Family" quality seal for family-friendly venues and offers accessible facilities throughout. A café, shop, and online store are available for visitors.
