Museen Böttcherstraße Stiftungs-GmbH

Museen Böttcherstraße in Bremen brings together two outstanding museums in the historic Böttcherstraße: the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum, dedicated to Germany's first Expressionist painter and one of the most significant female artists of the early 20th century, and the Ludwig Roselius Museum, which houses a collection of medieval and early modern decorative arts assembled by the coffee merchant and cultural patron Ludwig Roselius. Together they explore the intersection of art history, the Worpswede artists' colony, and the remarkable cultural legacy of this unique Art Nouveau street in Bremen's old town. A shop and publication programme accompany the permanent and rotating exhibitions.
