Museen im Kulturzentrum

Museen im Kulturzentrum Rendsburg comprises two museums in Rendsburg's historic Arsenal building near the central Paradeplatz: the Historisches Museum and the Druckmuseum (Print Museum). Renovated and relaunched in 2020, the Historisches Museum presents over 800 square metres of Rendsburg's city history and the story of the Nord-Ostsee-Kanal — the world's most heavily trafficked artificial waterway — through media stations, interactive exhibits, paintings, uniforms and artefacts, with QR codes providing content in English and Danish. The Druckmuseum offers live demonstrations of wood and lino printing, letterpress and bookbinding. The complex also holds a notable tin toy collection and rotating special exhibitions, with programmes for schools, art courses and children's events.
