Elisabeth Weeshuis Museum
The Elisabeth Weeshuis Museum is the city museum of Culemborg, housed in the oldest purpose-built orphanage in the Netherlands. Between 1560 and 1952 more than 700 orphans grew up here, and since 1928 the building has also served as Culemborg's museum. Visitors find historic interiors, a painting collection, silverware and interactive elements telling the city's story alongside the children's voices.
