Haardplatenmuseum

Haardplatenmuseum Klarenbeek is a museum and documentation centre in Klarenbeek, the Netherlands, dedicated to firebacks (haardplaten) and their iconographic themes. The museum's collection of more than thirty cast-iron firebacks is complemented by an extensive photographic archive and library, with materials spanning Kaminplatten, Ofenplatten, and Takenplatten — historic German plate types used in domestic heating. The website also hosts an alphabetical iconographic index and links to fireback collections in six countries, making the Dutch heritage of firebacks accessible to the public.
