Havnebygmesterens Studiesamling

Havnebygmesterens Studiesamling is an exhibition that presents a sample of By & Havn's rich archive of photos, drawings, videos and stories about the history of Copenhagen Harbour. Located in the Visitationsbygningen (Visitation Building) at Nordre Toldbod, the exhibition explores how Copenhagen's harbour geography has changed dramatically through landfill, including the establishment of Frihavnen (1891-1894) and the damming of Kalvebod (1939-1943). Visitors can see old photographs of harbour workers and learn about projects that never came to fruition.
