Museet for Dansk Bladtegning

Museet for Dansk Bladtegning (Museum of Danish Newspaper Drawing) is situated within Den Gamle By — The Old Town museum — in Aarhus, Denmark. The collection traces 175 years of Danish press illustration, from the early satirical magazine Corsaren (1840) through to 2023, spanning the full range of the genre: portraits, vignettes, decorative illustrations, humorous and comic strip drawings, satirical cartoons, and reportage work including courtroom sketches, theatre illustrations and urban crowd scenes. Together, the drawings offer an unusually vivid window into Danish social and political life across nearly two centuries. Guided tours are available on request.
