Gerrit Valk's Bakkerij- en IJsmuseum

Gerrit Valk's Bakkerij- en IJsmuseum in Hellendoorn presents an impressive 1,000 m² collection of bakery and ice-making tools, machinery and objects assembled by Gerrit Valk (d. 1985) and opened by a foundation in 1986. Visitors can take an audio tour (available in Dutch, German and English) and, during school holidays, join a baking demonstration where children help make bread. The museum is run entirely by volunteers.
