Genforenings- og Grænsemuseet

Genforenings- og Grænsemuseet, located just north of Christiansfeld opposite Den gamle Grænsekro, is a small Danish museum dedicated to the Reunification of Southern Jutland with Denmark on 10 July 1920. Exhibits recount King Christian X's famous ride across the erased border and life under foreign rule, while outdoor walks lead visitors to the site of the old border with its history of escapes, smuggling and border trade.
