Esbjerg Byhistoriske Arkiv

Esbjerg Byhistoriske Arkiv (Esbjerg City Archives) is a municipal institution that manages archival records for Esbjerg Municipality and collects private archival material related to Esbjerg. The archive holds more than 100,000 historical images and videos in its digital collection, and runs eleven specialised databases drawn from burial records, tax lists, censuses and population registers, plus written memoirs from people connected to Esbjerg. Alongside its archival work, the institution runs an active public dissemination programme.
