Havnø Mølle

Havnø Mølle, built in 1842, is the oldest preserved windmill in North Jutland. The beautiful thatched Dutch-style windmill stands between the inlet of Mariager Fjord and the forests of Lounkær. Completely restored between 1995 and 2001, it now operates as a working museum mill, with guided tours during opening hours and occasional flour-grinding demonstrations on summer special days. The mill is part of Nordjyske Museer (North Jutland Museums).
