Cultuurhistorisch Museum Asselt

Museum Asselt is the oldest still-existing museum in Limburg, Netherlands, established in 1927. Situated along the Maas River adjacent to the historic St. Dionysius Church, the museum focuses on Frankish and Norse history, exploring evidence of a Frankish royal court and Norse settlement in Asselt. Collections include artefacts and a VR educational experience called "Noormannenzwaard" (Norse Sword), with rotating exhibitions and guided tours.
